We are nearly halfway through the 2017 season and it’s time to take a look at some of the great players, who have warmed our hearts with many fantasy points. Masterson and Bob lead the league in first teamers with two each. However, Matt has four total if you count all three All-Robio teams. Don is the only person who has zero All-Robio players, mostly because…Don.

FIRST-TEAM ALL-ROBIO
QB – DeShaun Watson (BOB) At this point, I need to just put in place a ban for me. I will no longer be allowed to cut anyone I draft after round 10 until at least week six. Watson is dominating the competition. He’s averaged 334 points per game and that includes week one where he didn’t play the first three quarters. Bob landed him in week four for $9 and he could be his third career first-team All-Robio player.
RB – Kareem Hunt (ROB M) While his numbers have come back down to earth a bit; he averaged a stunning 468 through three weeks, he’s still averaging a solid 231 over his last three. His 350 fantasy points per game is the league’s best and he’s on pace for 2,360 total yards this season. Rob’s last 1st team All-Robio running back was Doug Martin, back in 2012.
RB – Todd Gurley (MATT) At least I can say I saw this coming, as he was on my preseason All-Robio team. His average yard per rush still isn’t amazing (He’s 4.2 compared to Hunt’s 5.9), but he’s had lots of touches and he’s a much better receiver (23-245-2). Matt’s keeper is averaging 315 points per game and has failed to hit 200 just once. Matt’s last 1st team back was LeSean McCoy, back in 2011.
WR – Antonio Brown (ERIC) To the surprise of no one, Brown is the top dog again. He’s averaging a solid 253 points per game. He’s first in receptions, he’s first in yards, although he only has two scores on the season. I have to double check this, but if Brown can keep 1st team by season’s end, it will be the first time in history one player on one team has earned 1st team three straight years.
WR – A.J. Green (ROB M) Despite the fact he’s had a bye-week, Green is still the second best wide receiver. A 400-point game will do that. He’s on pace for 1,600 yards receiving. Fun fact: Rob has never had a first-team wide receiver…ever.
TE – Rob Gronkowski (BURRIER) The Pats tight end has produced three 200+ games and leads all tight ends with 208 fantasy points per game, despite missing one week. If Gronk can hold onto this spot, he’ll tie Tony Gonzalez with five 1st-team All-Robio awards, which is a record. Barring a trade, it would be the third time he’s done it with Burrier. Of course, Gonzalez also had five 2nd team and one 3rd-team award and Gronk has none of those.
PK – Greg Zuerlein (ROBIO) Hey, I have a first-team All-Robio player. Glory days! The Rams kicker leads the league in attempts (18) and made field goals (17). He’s also first in extra points (18). This is just sad. I’ve had just one 1st team All-Robio player since 2014 (Olsen last year) and I haven’t hard a WR since 2008; a running back since 2010.
DST – Jaguars (BOB) The Jags D are blowing away the competition, averaging 196 points per game, nearly 30 more than the next team on this list. They lead the league in interceptions (10) and sacks (23). They’ve alo scored four defensive touchdowns and recovered six fumbles. Not bad for a week three pickup. That gives Bob two first-team All-Robio players and neither did he draft. Lesson: Work the wire, win games.

SECOND-TEAM ALL-ROBIO
QB – Dak Prescott (BURRIER) Didn’t see this one coming. Because the Cowboys defense can’t stop anyone, Dallas and Dak have been dealing with shootouts. The sophomore arm is averaging 363 points per game and with Zeke gone potentially for six games soon, his stats should continue to rise.
RB – Leonard Fournette (CALDERON) The Jaguars’ rookie has gotten better as the season has gone along, getting his average up to 4.6 yards per carry. He would be first in the league in carries if it wasn’t for the ankle injury this past weekend. He’s second in rushing yards (596) and first in rushing touchdowns (6), averaging 314 fantasy points per game.
RB – Le’Veon Bell (MATT) After a slightly slow start to the season, Bell is starting to pick it up. He’s broken 400 in two of his last three games and his fantasy points per game is up to 275, as he leads the league in carries and second among backs in receptions.
WR – DeAndre Hopkins (RICH C) One of the more stranger All-Robio players. Hopkins has a decent 37 catches, but he averages only 10.3 yards per catch, which is low, but we probably should have seen it coming. His yards per catch have dropped every year since 2014. Anyhow, he’s up here because he’s scoring, tied for the league lead in reception touchdowns.
WR – Mike Evans (GRIFF) The Buccaneers wide receiver missed week one due to a hurricane, but he’s been consistent since. He’s averaging 184 fantasy points per game.
TE – Zach Ertz (MATT) He’s put up at least 140 fantasy points per game in every game, averaging a solid 170. He actually leads all tight ends in targets (53), receptions (34) and yards (405).
PK – Ryan Succop (GRIFF) He’s made 17 field goals on the season, having twice attempted four in one game, two more times attempting three in a game.
DST – Steelers (JEFF) They’ve produced at least two sacks in every game and had seven against the Browns in week one. They’ve been a bit hit and/or miss with the run defense. They let both the Bears and Jaguars run over them at the tune of 222 and 231 yards. But they’ve also held four teams below 100 yards rushing in a game, including the Chiefs, who mustered only 28 yards.

THIRD-TEAM ALL-ROBIO
QB – Alex Smith (COLBY) It’s a little hard to believe, but Smith is a functioning fantasy quarterback. He’s got a solid wide receiver (Hill) a stud TE (Kelce) and a great receiver out of the backfield (Hunt). He’s averaging 318 per game, which is seven better than Tom Brady.
RB – Melvin Gordon (JEFF) Through four weeks, Gordon was decent, averaging 177.5 points per game, but barely averaging over three yards per carry. However, over his last two, he’s dominated, going 400+ in back-to-back. He’s still only averaging 3.6 yards per carry, but he does have seven scores, including four via the reception.
RB – Chris Thompson (ERIC) Picked up in week three, Eric really hasn’t gotten to enjoy Thompson’s success, as he’s been on his bench. Of course, his stats are only great when Fat Kelley is hurt, so there is no guarantee he’ll be on this list when the season ends. Anyhow, he gets his points via the pass (he only has 175 yards rushing), despite the fact he’s not even in the top-10 in RB targets or receptions. Instead, he delivers a stunning 18.9 yard per catch. His 340 yards receiving are a league high.
WR – Brandin Cooks (MARC) Marc has an All-Robio player. See, it’s not all bad. Cooks has only caught 24 of his 41 targets, but he’s averaging nearly 20 yards pr catch and is fifth in the league in yards.
WR – Larry Fitzgerald (ERIC) The Cardinals veteran, who has been earning All-Robio awards since 2005, is looking to become the fifth wide receiver to earn five of these bad boys and his first award since 2009. The eight year gap would be the longest ever by a wideout. Eric breaking all kinds of records.
TE – Travis Kelce (COLBY) He can go a little hot and cold. Proof? In his best three games, he’s averaged a solid 250 points per game. In his three worst games, he’s averaged 55 points per game. Stats, baby.
PK – Jake Elliot (MATT) He’s missed two on the year, but he did hit a league best 61 yarder and has attempted at least two field goals in every game.
DST – Ravens (ERIC) 14 total takeaways (tied for second) and three defensive touchdowns help cover up a poor pass defense (1,985 yards in six games).
