2008 Homer Rankings

Matt loves his Eagles, Masterson loves his Jets, Robio always swings towards the Cowboys, but who is the real homer? Which league owner always drafts players from his own team? I think I know everyone’s favorite team. Giant fans are Jeff, Bob and Calderon. David and Burrier are Patriots fans. Eric and Don go Dolphins, while Molly and Griff are all about the Bucs.

1) Matt Neatock – 1.80 Eagles per draft Yep, you probably should have guess this. The funny part is, he’s drafted Reggie Brown three times.

T2) Rob Masterson – 1.67 Jets per draft Masterson started off with a bang, eight in his first three years, but then took a three year break before taking two Jets in 2007.

T2) Rich Burrier – 1.67 Patriots per draft Burrier loves his Pat’s tight ends. Of his ten drafted Patriots, Rich has taken three different tight ends, a total of five times.

4) Jeff Greenblatt – 1.60 Giants per draft Three of his eight Giants just so happened to be Tiki Barber (twice as a keeper).

T5) Robio Murray – 0.857 Cowboys per draft After going Cowboy heavy, at least one a year early on, I’ve only taken two Boys in the last four years.

T5) Eric Vozzola – 0.857 Dolphins per draft A total of six Dolphins, but three of them have been Ronnie Brown, twice as a keeper.

7) Molly Coomer – 0.833 Bucs per draft You’re almost always guaranteed that Molly will grab one hometown boy, missing only once in 2006.

8) Bob Castrone – 0.80 Giants per draft Not too bad, went two years without a G-Men. He can have Jacobs for one more.

T9) Griff Coomer – 0.714 Bucs per draft Griff loves his non-producing Tampa Bay receivers. He grabbed three between 2003-2006.

T9) Don Vozzola – 0.714 Dolphins per draft Is it a coincidence that Don became a winner once he stopped drafting Dolphins?

11) D. Hightower – 0.571 Patriots per draft Between ’01 through ’06, Dave only took Tom Brady once. However, he made up for it last season, grabbing three Patriots.

12) Rich Calderon – No Giants drafted No one will ever accuse him of being a homer…at least in football.
