Records are meant to be broken…or at least tied. In 2007, many, many, many people got their name put in the Robioland fantasy book. Below you will find all the records that took place in the year of the Neatock, 2007. But first, let’s look at some random numbers from 2007.

CHAMPIONSHIP
– Matt Neatock won his first title
– Matt becomes the first #5 seed to win a title
– This is the fourth time in five years, the champion won its first playoff game the year they won the title
RUNNER UP
– Rich Calderon appeared in his first championship
– Calderon becomes the first team to take down in the playoffs both the regular season scoring champ and the top seeded team (The exception, Griff beat Rick in the 2000 playoff. Rick was both the top seed and scoring champ)
OTHER PLAYOFF NUMBERS
– Eric appeared in his first post-season in 2007
– Molly has now lost five straight playoff games, her last playoff win was 2002
– Richard Burrier has lost four straight playoff games, his last win was his title in 2003
– Bob and Rich Calderon both remain undefeated in the first round (3-0).
– By losing in the first round, Don becomes the 6th straight league champion to not win at least one playoff game the following year.
– Dave becomes the first team to appear in the post-season eight times for his career.
MISS THE PLAYOFFS
– Robio, Rob, Griff and Jeff/Colby all missed the playoffs for the second time in their careers.
– Only three people have now missed the playoffs only once in a career; David, Molly and Rich Burrier.

MOST POINTS IN A SINGLE GAME
– Matt’s 2,338-point game was the 2nd best single game score in league history.
– Don’s 2,228-point game was the 5th best game ever.
– Molly’s 2,025-point game was the 17th best game ever.
LOWEST POINTS IN A SINGLE GAME
– Don’s 508-pt game was the 14th worst game in league history. The only game to crack the bottom twenty.
LARGEST ASS-KICKING
– Don beat Rich Burrier by 1,296 points. The 4th biggest ass kicking in league history.
– Bob beat Eric by 1,077 points. The 5th biggest ass kicking in league history
– Matt beat Bob by 1,111 points. The 13th best ass kicking in league history.
– Eric beat Molly by 1,076 points. The 17th best ass kicking in league history.
CLOSEST GAMES
– Bob squeezed by Rich Calderon by 11 points; tied with four other people for 9th closes game ever.
HIGEST COMBINED SCORE IN A SINGLE GAME
– Matt and Bob combined for 3,556 points (Matt won 2,338-1,227), the 12th highest combined score

– Don was the scoring champ in ’07 with a solid 1,421ppg average. It was the 12th best average ever.
– David didn’t get the scoring title, but he did average 1,400ppg. The 15th best average of all time.
WORST SCORING SEASON
– Rich Burrier produced only 1,025ppg. The 5th worst average in league history.
– Jeff/Colby managed only 1,039ppg. The 9th lowest average ever.
1,000-POINT GAME STREAK
– Bob knocked out 21-straight 1,000-pt games; the 2nd longest streak in league history.
– Don got 15 straight 1,000-pt games in a row from ’06-07; tied for 10th longest streak.
MOST OPPONENTS POINTS IN A SEASON
– Griff’s opponents averaged 1,386ppg. The 6th most for one season.
MOST POINTS IN A DEFEAT
– Matt scored 1,565 in a defeat to Robio, the 14th most points scored in a defeat
LONGEST STREAK WITHOUT A WEEKLY LOW SCORE
– My streak of not having a low score ended at 41-straight weeks, 5th longest streak.
– Matt went 30 weeks without a low score; 9th longest streak.
– Eric went 25 weeks without a low score; 14th longest streak.
– Both Bob and Griff will head into ’08 with active streaks in the top-20 of no-weekly low scores. Bob is 11th (27 straight), Griff has 20 straight, putting him 17th.

– David finally got a weekly high score in ’07, ending his streak without at 30 straight. The 6th longest streak.
